Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 325F 160C and line a 9x9-inch 23x23 cm baking pan with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and melted butter
Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create the crust
In another mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, and continue to beat until well combined
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust in the pan, spreading it out evenly
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the Nutella for about 20 seconds until it's easier to work with
Drop spoonfuls of Nutella onto the cream cheese mixture in the pan
Use a knife to swirl the Nutella into the cream cheese mixture, creating a marbled effect
Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the top of the cheesecake bars
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly
Remove from the oven and let the cheesecake bars cool in the pan for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set
Once chilled and set, lift the cheesecake bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang
Cut into squares and serve
